Abby was a hard-working mother who had to juggle taking care of her baby, working from home, and running errands.

On this particular day, she was working at her office because she had important in-person meetings with clients.

As she left work, she felt anxious about her five-month-old baby, Connor, whom she left at home with her thirteen-year-old son, Theo, who had the day off from school.

Abby’s husband, Patrick, was supposed to come home at 5:30 pm to relieve Theo of his babysitting duties.

However, by 7 pm, there was still no sign of her husband, and when she got home, she found the house empty.

Abby called out to her family members, but no one answered. She searched the house and eventually found Connor sleeping on the nursery room floor, alone.

Abby was terrified and angry.After calling Patrick, she found out that he had gone out with his friends for drinks and had completely forgotten that he was supposed to relieve Theo.

Abby was even more furious when she discovered that Theo had gone out for ice cream with his friends, leaving her baby alone.

Abby was overwhelmed with emotions, and it was apparent from the way she spoke on the phone with Patrick and Theo.

The situation was dangerous, and anything could have happened to Connor, but thankfully, he was unharmed.

As the story ended, Abby was waiting for her husband and son to come home so she could give them a piece of her mind.

She was disappointed in her husband's lack of responsibility and her son's disregard for his younger brother's safety.

Abby wanted to make sure that this never happened again, and that her family knew how serious the situation was.
