SOo,Let's go into the details of this story...

Annemarie and her husband, Johan, had become suspicious of Hoeses after finding unexplained injuries on their daughter. Laila also seemed scared of her nanny, which only heightened their concerns.
"I watched the footage with my mother-in-law," Theron said to MailOnline. They had installed the camera on the same morning. Theron is originally from Zimbabwe but currently resides in Namibia.

"When I saw what she had done to Laila, I cried and cried. I held my baby girl close and kept telling her I was so sorry.
"I had so many emotions - betrayed, and a complete failure as a mum. It was the worst feeling I have ever had and never, ever want another mother to have to go through that."

Having four children of her own, Hoeses was taken into custody following the attack and charged with attempted murder. She appeared in court on Monday but was denied bail and will be held in custody until October.
The couple had hired Hoeses based on recommendations from friends who had employed her for two years to take care of their own children. However, following the attack on their own daughter, Theron revealed that the friends felt terrible and were conducting their own investigations with the help of a therapist to ensure their own children had not been abused.
Theron has been struggling to eat and sleep since the assault took place last Wednesday at their home, located in a remote area of Namibia. She knew that the abuse may have gone on for some time, which made the situation even more difficult to bear.
The mother, who works as a sales and reservations manager at a tourist lodge in Outjo, recalled discovering bruises on the soles of Laila's feet back in July. She had then noticed bruises on her daughter's neck and shoulders last month.

"I didn't want to be a paranoid first-time mum, and I didn't want to confront the nanny as I had no proof. I did not want to make her angry towards me and put my child in danger.
"It was very difficult to leave each morning to go to work.
"My husband was home for a couple of days earlier this month and thought that Laila seemed frightened of her childminder.
As per MailOnline, the mother had recalled a time when Laila had fallen and had a bruise above her eyes, causing her eyes to become swollen from crying.
Last Wednesday, the couple had activated a camera that they had installed in their bedroom where Laila's cot was located. Shockingly, the footage showed Hoeses walking in while carrying Laila by her neck and shoulder. She then proceeded to tidy the bed and threw the baby down face-first into the cot with a loud thud, as though she was a mere rag doll. The baby cried as Hoeses left the room.
Despite the ordeal, Laila, who is just starting preschool, has emerged unscathed.
Theron explained to MailOnline that even though she had the incriminating footage, she could not confront the abusive nanny until she had reported her to the authorities. As a result, she had to "act normal" and go about her business the following day when Hoeses showed up for work.
"I knew I had to do it by the book and report her to the correct authorities so that she would be dealt with properly. I didn't want her to be able to get another job looking after children," she said.
Theron took Laila with her and reported the matter to the police and welfare authorities. The woman was arrested the next day as a result of the report.
"I feel so angry and betrayed. She has looked me in the eye for how long and been doing whatever she was doing to my daughter, I can't even think about it.
"I didn't expect to see what I saw and I was absolutely shattered. I was horrified that she could look me in the eye - like she did everyday. My heart breaks," she added.
At the moment, Laila is attending a playgroup in the mornings and accompanying her mother to work in the afternoons. Theron acknowledged that this arrangement is not a long-term solution and stated that she would have to wait to see if she can trust another person to take care of Laila in the future.
She added: "Not all maids are bad. I grew up with a maid my whole life. It is just going to take some time to trust people and I'm sure that time will come."
The nanny's true character has come to light through Laila's story, according to Theron. Several individuals have come forward alleging domestic violence in the home, especially when alcohol was involved.
Theron is also concerned about the well-being of Hoeses' four children, stating that she doesn't know who will look after them now. She admits to feeling a sense of guilt.
