Brave or in-Love? Man Spends $401k For Surgery To Save His Dog, But That's not ALL..

You are totally mistaken if you think this is a normal story of a guy saving his pet dog!

Jason is like no other men! if you wanna know why? Watch till the end of today's episode! and TRUST ME : the details of the story are unbelievable!!

Let's Start with a question: How far will you go to save your dog’s life?

For Jason Garrett, there’s no question.

He would do anything to save his precious mini Schnauzer, Lola.

But before we get any further with today's story, make sure you subscribe to StoryWeaver!

and Let's DIVE IN!  (say it with enthusiam)

Lola. Lola came into his life when she was only eight weeks old and has been a source of love and support for Jason ever since.

Despite Lola's sweet nature and seemingly healthy exterior, she suffers from a life-threatening condition that has shaken Jason to the core.

In November, Lola fainted after returning from a walk, prompting Jason to take her to the vet.

It was then that he learned that Lola has an enlarged heart due to a damaged mitral valve, which has led to a pre-heart failure condition.

The news was devastating for Jason, as he learned that Lola might have less than a year left if she doesn't receive surgery soon.

Lola's condition has hit Jason particularly hard because she is not just a pet, but his therapy dog.

Jason suffers from depression and bipolar disorder, and Lola is the only one who can provide him with the comfort and stability he needs.

Without her, he might not be able to continue his work helping at-risk youth, low-income families, and seniors with affordable housing opportunities.

Unfortunately, the surgery that could save Lola's life is not something that Jason's current work can afford.

Lola's condition only has one solution: open heart surgery, three words no one ever wants to hear.

Jason is facing a difficult decision! So what will he do?? Even if I told you, you won’t believe it (little laugh ~ joking)

Saving Lola's life is of utmost importance to Jason Garrett.

But unfortunately, Lola requires a highly specialized and complex surgery that comes with a hefty price tag of $45,000 USD.

As a nonprofit worker, Jason's job doesn't provide him with the necessary income to easily cover the expenses.

The cost includes the surgery, valued at $17,000, as well as the expenses of traveling and staying in Japan, where Dr. Masami Uechi performs the operation.

However, Jason is willing to do whatever it takes to save his beloved Lola, including cashing out his retirement fund and selling his 2018 Hyundai Elantra. do you believe it? that's true love! (say it with shocked face)

Thankfully, Jason received some good news.

Dr. Uechi has been training doctors in the same procedure at the University of Florida, which means that Jason and Lola may not have to travel to Japan for the surgery.

Jason Was determined to save Lola's life. He takes comfort in the fact that Dr. Uechi has a 90% success rate with similar surgeries and remains hopeful that Lola will recover soon.

Fortunately, a GoFundMe campaign was created to raise funds for Lola's costly surgery. The response was overwhelming, and donations poured in, surpassing the initial goal by a significant margin.

The donation page's final amount was an astonishing $50,705, which ensured that Lola could receive the life-saving surgery she needed.

Thanks to the successful surgery, Lola is now thriving and continues to work as a therapy dog at 12 years old.

Jason's unwavering commitment to his beloved Schnauzer is an inspiration, demonstrating that there's nothing he wouldn't do to protect his dog's health and well-being.

In addition to saving Lola's life, Jason's efforts have also raised awareness of Lola's condition and given hope to countless pet owners who face similar uncertainties. For this, we are immensely grateful.

May god bless people like Jason! he is truelly a hero to my eyes? what about yours?

Good bye and see you tomorrow in the new episode! don't MISS IT..
